HERMAN is so funny. We crack up every time we talk to him. Last time (which was yesterday), we spent hours together. And what did we talk about? EGGS! Herman has some pretty strong opinions on this subject. Of course we're going to tell you exactly what they are, but first we must warn you that it gets pretty funny. So find yourself a chair-or you'll fall down!
'Oh, I'm so hungry, I think I'll die," Herman groaned. Then suddenly his eyes lit up."Ah, I know what I'd love right now . . . eggs! Eggs fried in a bunch of grease till they're crackling hot. Then I'd love a piece of hot toast smeared with butter. Lots of butter. I love butter. Oh, would I love that right now!" But that's not all. Herman continued to dream about those eggs and here's what he said. "If I had that toast, I'd lay it down flat on my plate. Then I'd get some chips-uh, French fries I think you call them - and I'd line the chips on the toast, one next to the other. Oh,man! Then I'd fold it over - ver-r-y carefully, into half a sandwich. And smash! I'd mash it right down into my eggs and squish it around 'til it was all yellow . . . then mmmmmm!" Then Herman sat back, looking almost as satisfied as if he'd actually eaten his favorite dish-instead of just dreaming it. He's a riot! |
