Peter Noone's New York men's boutique, The Zoo, opened last week with a party attended by pop personalities like Noel Redding, all three members of Mortimer, and Lord Sutch.
Co-owned by designer Steve Lyons, The Zoo sells it's London imports and Lyons originals in a simulated zoo setting. Fake tropical greenery, cages for displaying clothes and plastic grass floor covering carry out the motif for the male animal.
The Zoo is located at 243 E. 60th Street in New York and will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Prices for the clothes will be moderate and rock groups can have outfits custom made for them at The Zoo.
