Peter Noone, alias Herman, has branched out into record production, and has opened his own world-wide company headquartered in New York. His first production for Hy Noone Productions is "Hey Gyp" written by Donovan for a new New York group. The 3½, with whom he is pictured above. The company was opened on New Years Day and the first record was released last week. Herman flies back to New York from England on February 15 5o look for new artists and materials. Said Bob Levine of Hy Noone: "Herman will be doing all of his production work in New York and this definitely means he'll be spending more time on this side of the Atlantic." |
When he returns on February 15, Herman will conclude negotiations with three record companies anxious to acquire his new record. The 3½ is made up of Scott Saks, Jeff Conaway, Bobby Angel, Joe Farla and 12-year-old drummer Stevie Angel. They first met Herman when touring with him last summer. Said Herman:"Their sound is quite fantastic and it's a record that I would tip for top five in the charts." |
