HERMAN MAY FILM
HIS LIFE STORY

NEGOTIATIONS are in progress for Herman to star in an Anglo-American film of his own life story. The Hermits would also take part. The deal is being set up with MGM by Mickie Most and Danny Betesh, of Kennedy Street Enterprises. The film would be made at the end of the summer.
Meanwhile, the group's American tour on the Dick Clark Package is now confirmed. Labour permits have been issued. The tour runs from April 30 to June 2 and will be preceded by six one-nighter dates in Texas.
Little Anthony and the Imperials, who made a brief appearance in the NME Charts in January with "Goin' Out of My Head," are expected in Britain later this month on a brief radio and TV promotional visit. They are being brought over as part of the reciprocal exchange for the Hermits' American trip.
