Have you read some of the silly articles about Herman's "exciting passionate romances" with dozens of gorgeous movie stars and the "secret rumors about the awful time the Hermits almost brok up" and "the hidden fears that haunt the Hermits" and junk like that. Such lies! Hoo boy! A lot of magazines print some pretty unbelievable nonsense. We can't understand why they have to make up stories when the plain simple facts are so interesting. When we decided to run an article on one of the last of the big time British groups, we didn't have to dream up any phoney baloney. We simply interviewed each of Herman's Hermits. Peter Noone, Karl Green, Barry Whitwam, Keith Hopwood, and Lek Leckenby told us of their amusing experiences, their ambitions, the complete authentic story of how the group got it's name and other genuine facts that we hope you'll enjoy. |
