Thank you for making this such a very special and spectacular summer for Barry, Keith, Lek, Karl and me. As this issue of FLIP was flying to your newsstand, we were flying across the Atlantic to begin a tour which will take us from the newest state, Hawaii, to the smallest state, Rhode Island, before it ends in mid-August.
    If our last exciting visit to this wonderful country delighted us, then this one should bowl us over! All the signs of your fabulous friendship have been evident these last few weeks as we made our plans for the trip home for a couple of weeks when the tour ends next month, but then we'll be back to tape a TV spectacular and to film our next movie. All this action should keep us here until very close to Thanksgiving - which is the most time we have ever spent at one stretch in America!
    I hope that I will be able to meet you during these next few busy months. If that isn't possible, then I hope that we will be able to "meet" through the mail.
