- This up-and-coming group is very big on the Manchester scene and at home. Herman - that's him on the top of the ladder - was formerly a TV actor. He appeared in "Coronation Street". Herman and bass guitarist Karl Green are sixteen, Hoppy Hopwood (rhythm) and Bean Whitwam (drums) are eighteen, and lead guitarist Lek Leckenby is nineteen.
